Polymarket vs Kalshi: why copy trading only works on Kalshi.
Polymarket surfaces winners you can't verify. Kalshi verifies everyone and surfaces almost nothing. KalshiSpy exists to fill that gap — the verified top earners, made visible. First, Kalshi vs Polymarket at a glance; then the one difference that decides whether copying a trader can work at all.

Why only one of them supports copy trading
| Polymarket | Kalshi | |
|---|---|---|
| Top-earner visibility | ✕ A leaderboard of anonymous wallets — rankings nobody can audit. | ✓ Verified people, but Kalshi buries its top earners. KalshiSpy surfaces them — images, names, receipts. |
| Who you copy | ✕ An anonymous wallet — one person, ten people, or a bot. You never know. | ✓ One real person with a government-ID-verified account. |
| Hidden losses | ✕ A rich trader can run 100 wallets, show you the lucky winner, and hide 99 losers. | ✓ One person = one account. Losses follow the trader forever — the leaderboard can't lie. |
| Wash trading | ✕ Wallets can trade against each other to fake volume and pump a "top trader" ranking. | ✓ A single account can't trade with itself. Winners are real winners. |
| Disappearing acts | ✕ Lose big → dump the wallet, mint a new one, start "undefeated" again. | ✓ The account is tied to a real identity. The person winning today was winning last year. |
| Oversight | ✕ polymarket.com sits offshore, outside CFTC oversight, and that is where the wallet leaderboard lives; someone with inside knowledge can win, cash out, and vanish. | ✓ CFTC-regulated US exchange; repeated suspicious wins get investigated. |
| Copy-trading verdict | ✕ Copying a moving target. It feels smart, but you are guessing. | ✓ Copying a verified human with a provable record. The signal is real. |
The anonymous-wallet problem
A "top wallet" on Polymarket tells you almost nothing. It might be one brilliant trader — or a syndicate sharing keys, a market-making bot, or the one lucky survivor of a hundred burner wallets whose 99 losing siblings you'll never see. Wallets can be sold, shared, or abandoned the moment they take a loss. Copying one is copying a moving target: like copying the homework of a student whose name you don't know and whose grade history resets whenever it gets embarrassing.
Kalshi's one-human-one-account rule changes everything
Kalshi is a CFTC-regulated US exchange. Every account is tied to one verified identity — you can't mint a fresh account after a bad month, can't wash-trade against yourself, and can't hide losses. So when a trader sits at the top of the profit leaderboard, that ranking is the real, complete record of one human brain and one pool of capital. That is a signal worth following. See who's on top right now on the live Top Kalshi Traders leaderboard.
So how do you actually copy them?
Kalshi shows prices, not people. Knowing who the winners are is only half the job — the other half is seeing which markets they're stacking right now. That's what KalshiSpy does: it surfaces every verified top trader's live positions through private premium data access, groups them by market, and shows the consensus with a one-tap deep-link into Kalshi.
